In an hour and a half, Alice will give you a tour of the night sky.

We'll begin with a story as the sky darkens, then we'll identify the most prominent celestial objects as they appear. We might even get glimpses of the Milky Way and see a shooting star or two.

​

Astronomical observations will be peppered by myths and folktales from different cultures. If the weather is overcast, the emphasis will be on storytelling, including a trip to the Southern Hemisphere's night sky.

 

Alice loves to share the wonders of a starlit sky, the stories it inspired our ancestors as well as modern scientific discoveries.
