Slow living comes naturally here.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Review - Emma-Jayne I, 2025
The site is beautiful, calm and relaxing.
Soo & Jon was a really warm and friendly host. We had plans to explore the local area by car but instead opted for a much needed slow morning, and the walk to the waterfall. What a beautiful walk that was, through many changing landscapes eating blackberries from the woodlands all the way, and a cool dip and play in the waterfall, a little gem in the heart of the woodland. We got back, and booked in to the wild spa, a beautiful sauna and outdoor shower they have built on site which we both really enjoyed.

Meadow Camping FAQs
What makes Meadow Camping at Top of the Woods special?
Meadow Camping at Top of the Woods is about the luxury of space, time and nature. Set across five acres of wildflower meadow and edged by woodland, each pitch is generously spaced with open views across the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It’s quiet, car-free camping with campfires, big skies and room to slow down. Simple, nature-rich camping with thoughtful facilities that make it easy to relax and enjoy time together.
How big are the camping pitches and what tents fit?
Each Meadow Camping pitch is a generous 12 × 12 metres, giving you plenty of space to spread out and relax. This comfortably fits one large family tent or two smaller tents, with room around you so the meadow stays open, peaceful and uncrowded.
Do we choose our pitch when we arrive?
Yes. We don’t allocate pitches at the time of booking. When you arrive, you’re free to choose the spot in the meadow that feels right for you. With a limited number of generously spaced pitches, this keeps things relaxed and gives you the flexibility to settle into the space and views you prefer.
Are campfires allowed
Yes. Campfires are very much part of the Meadow Camping experience. You can hire one of our firepits or BBQs on site, making evenings around the fire simple and fuss-free. Local firewood is available too.
If you prefer to bring your own firepit or BBQ, that’s absolutely fine, it just needs to be kept off the ground to protect the meadow and grass beneath.
What facilities are available for Meadow Campers?
Meadow Campers have access to free hot showers, toilets, washing-up facilities and shared fridge, freezer and microwave space, all just a short walk from the meadow. Everything is close enough to be convenient, while keeping the camping area peaceful, car-free and uncluttered.
Electric vehicle charging is available on site near the parking area. Please note that Meadow Camping pitches do not have electric hook-up. If you’re looking for camping with EHU, our Friends Power & Park Up pitches may be a better fit.
