Journey slowly through one of Pembrokeshire’s most beautiful and hidden river landscapes, travelling by open canoe through the Teifi Gorge.
This is a guided river canoe adventure designed to help you experience the landscape at water level, moving gently with the flow of the river. Paddling at an easy pace, you’ll have time to notice the details, the wildlife, the changing light and the quiet rhythm of being on the water.

The experience
On the Saturday you will head out on a river canoe trek led by experienced local guides with deep knowledge of the River Teifi Gorge and its wildlife.
Travelling by Canadian open canoe, most of the journey is along calm, flat water, with gentle movement, and a short section of easy rapids near the end. The pace is unhurried, with time to pause, drift, observe and fully take in this unique river environment.
Routes and conditions are chosen carefully to suit the group, weather and river levels, making this an accessible and rewarding experience rather than a physical challenge.

This isn’t about speed or distance covered. It’s about moving quietly through a rare and protected landscape where fresh and saltwater meet. The Teifi Gorge is rich in wildlife and history, from otters and kingfishers to ancient coracle fishing traditions. Guided River Canoe Trek
A half-day river canoe journey led by experienced local guides with deep knowledge of the Teifi Gorge and its wildlife.
All equipment is provided, including Canadian open canoe, paddles, buoyancy aids and a full safety briefing.
Your route and pace are chosen based on the weather, river conditions and group experience, ensuring a calm, supported and enjoyable journey for everyone.
Two nights’ accommodation - Choose your eco-luxury glamping accommodation or bring your own tent.
