Looking back over the last 10 years, one of the most meaningful things we have done at Top of the Woods is to create a new woodland environment to help nature thrive.
With the help of our guests, through sponsorship, and by planting a tree for every booking made, we've planted 3,500 native trees.
We'll continue to plant a tree for every guest booking, and to mark our tenth year we would love to gift you a Welsh Oak sapling to take home along with your happy holiday memories.
Just one of these trees can support an incredible 2,300 species, including 38 kinds of birds, 31 mammals, 1,178 invertebrates (creepy crawlies!), 108 types of fungi, 716 lichens, and 229 plants from the moss family.* It’s a small step we can do! 😊🌳

Bigger, better Glamping Safari Lodges
We've upgraded our eco boutique Safari Lodges for a more luxurious stay
They say you can't improve on perfection, but we've had a try! In 2023 we're replacing our much-loved Safari Lodges with brand-new, improved versions. These second-generation glamping lodges will feature a redesigned layout and more space, plus wood burners to take your cosiness to the next level 😊 We'll post pictures of these new Safari Lodges soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

New electric car charging points

Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do at Top of the Woods, so it's no surprise we're all for greener travel!
With that in mind, we are installing two 7kW electric car charging points on site. They'll be good to go come this summer👍

So ... Jon's only gone and bought a wood-fired pizza oven! He's now on a personal quest to make the most delicious, thin-based sourdough pizzas for our camping guests to savour, and the best part is we'll be able to offer you this taste sensation on a more regular basis in 2023.
